So the new rumour is that Martin O’Neill is sniffing around England striker Gabby Agbonlahor, apparently the Black Cats boss is to be given money to spend in the summer transfer window and a striker is one of his first ports of call.
Hopefully Nicklas Bendtner is buggering off at the end of the season, but Sunderland are desperate for a goal scorer, with O’Neill knowing the striker from his Villa days and Gabby doing well under the Sunderland boss.
Villa will probably want a stupid amount of money for Agbonlahor, but Villa might sell because of the arrival of Darren Bent, Agbonlahor being knocked down the pecking order of first choice striker.
