Contradicting report today on defender Anton Ferdinand, apparently according to one source he has been offered on a loan deal to Celtic until the end of the season. Which is hard to believe as Sunderland currently have a major central defender injury crisis with Turner, Bramble and now John Mensah all out injured.
We also have Steve Bruce quoted in many reports on Anton fantastic performance against Bolton, Ferdinand getting a second chance to prove himself with so many injury’s to the defence and in all honesty he has not let himself of the Black Cats down.
