Kieran Richardson has recently become the focus of a rumour linking him with Arsenal who apparently are interested in signing the utility player. Richardson has recently been suffering with a virus making him miss the last couple of games which have seen Sunderland in top form, but in all honestly if he was to go it wouldn’t be a massive blow to the club.
Also fuelling the rumour that the player could be on his way back down South is that he has handed in a transfer request. But new Sunderland boss Martin O’Neill has bigger issues to deal with in keeping Sessegnon and Gardner on Wearside who are both said to be home sick.
