Defender Matt Kilgallon is heavily linking with a move to Hull City in this transfer window.
Sunderland signed him originally for 2 million but was quickly proven to be out of his depth in the premier league, he was then quickly loaned out to lower league teams.
But it has been reported that Kilgallon will sign for Hull at a fraction of his original cost, getting fringe players off the wage bill and also opens the door to new signings.
