Sunderland Striker links.

With 9 games left and only 6 points between a relegation spot and tenth position, the transfer rumours have already started.
The first of the rumours is a one that has been in circulation last season, Sunderland are being linked with a move for striker Diego Forlan.
Currently with Atletico Madrid the ex-Manchester United striker is the clubs top scorer and has been for every season since joining the club in 2004.
Madrid coach Abel Resino's recent decision to drop Forlan from the Champions League game with FC Porto last week has fuelled rumours of a falling out between player and coach.
The second rumour is that of Stoke striker James Beattie,
IF Stoke where to be relegated and
IF Sunderland are to stay up, also
IF Sunderland were to fail in the signing current loan striker Djibril Cisse. They will turn there attentions to the 31 year old, who signed for Stoke in the January transfer window.
