The Daily Mirror and The Guardian are today reporting that Sunderland AFC are offering a 15 million pound surprise bid for Spurs and Ireland international Robbie Keane. Harry Redknapp is said to be desperate to raise funds for the transfer market to bring in new strikers, which could leave Keane out of the first team, the reason he left Liverpool for. If Keane was to leave Spurs and sign for Sunderland he would undoubtely the first team choice.
