Local North-East newspapers are today reporting that Sunderland boss Steve Bruce is ready to cut in for Man United and England under 21 international Fraizer Campbell.
Campbell is currently away with the England under 21's as they take part in the European Championships, reports saying that Sunderland are prepared to offer 6 million pounds for the forward.
