Newly promoted Glasgow Rangers are eyeing up a move for unwanted Sunderland striker Danny Graham.

The 30 year old who is seeing out the remained of his Sunderland contract on loan at Blackburn Rovers, after being told his services where no longer required on Wearside.

Rangers Manager Mark Warburton knows Graham well as they were both at Watford together.

He would join another ex-Sunderland striker and South Shields born Martyn Waghorn, who was a product of the Sunderland Academy of Light.

Graham had several chances playing for Sunderland but repeatedly struggled to find the back of the net.  Going out on loan to Blackburn Rovers, he seems to have found his level playing in the Championship.

Graham will be available on a free in the summer, and with the 30 year old coming to the final part of his playing career a move to Ibrox could work well for him.
