Egyptian winger Ahmed Elmohamady has signed a permanent deal with Sunderland, from ENPPI after spending the season on loan at Wearside.

He has signed a 3 year contract which had been pre-arranged as part of the original loan deal, media sources have reported that he has cost Sunderland 2.5 million but nothing official has been confirmed. 

Sunderland boss Steve Bruce admitted earlier on in the season that Sunderland AFC would be signing the winger, and today it became a done deal.
