Another pre-season friendly and a cup tournament

Sunderland AFC will be heading to Gateshead International Stadium to play Gateshead FC on Saturday 18th July, as one of there pre-season friendly warm up matches.

This together with Sunderland accepting an invite to play in the Amsterdam Tournament, the tournament consists of 4 team, Sunderland will be facing Ajax, Benfica and Atletico Madrid.  The tournament is the most prestigious pre-season tournament in Europe with past invites going to the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United, Barcelona and AC Milan.
