Bob wants the job.

Ex USA boss Bob Bradley has reportedly said he wants the current vacant Sunderland Managers job after Dutchman Dick Advocaat left.

Bob is currently in charge of Norwegian side Stabaek, which was the first team to have an American manager as top flight side in Europe.

It’s not sure if there’s a connection with Sunderland Chairman Ellis Short, or if its pure coincidence that there both Americans.

Stabaek are thought to be ready to allow Bob to speak to the Black Cats if Sunderland are themselves interested in him.

Bradley has also been linked to the vacant Liverpool position, but this is more likely to be paper talk, again as Liverpool have American owners.
