Experienced Dutchman Bolo Zenden has agreed to stay another season on Wearside, according to his father who said, "It was actually already clear that Boudewijn would stay at Sunderland.
"His contract stated that could get a new agreement if he played 15 games. He had already reached that number in March."
Bolo scored one of the best goals of the season this season, and has used his invaluable experiences to help some of the up and coming young stars of Sunderland.
