Just over 3 months ago Sunderland had targeted Michael Bridges to strengthen their attacking force, only for the player to sign for Bolton instead.
It's now beleived that Sunderland are currently in talks with Bolton on taking over Bridges contract for the best known super sub on Wearside to return back to the team who made him.
