Sunderland Manager Steve Bruce has admitted that he is in major hurry to sign players in the January transfer window.
When asked about any dealings he may have Bruce said, "I've not really looked, if I'm honest, because the big clubs don't usually have a shuffle in January,"
"I could do with perhaps just a couple more bodies, but then managers are always going to say that!
"The one thing I never want to do is work with a huge squad - that's why I wanted to trim this one when I came here.
"If there's anybody available who I think can improve us then I will ask the question.
"But I'm really happy with the balance of the squad as it stands at the moment."
