Sunderland Manager Steve Bruce is ready to walk away from the deal for Darren Bent, with Spurs already having a manager that is known for is dodgy dealings in the transfers market by either doing his dealings with newspapers to unsettle players that he wants to sign, being linked with pretty much anyone who has ever kicked a football or the ledged back hander’s, all this seems to have rubbed off on clueless chairman David Levy.

Darren Bent has been push out of the Spurs side, and has himself made it very clear of his desire to sign for Sunderland, along with his frustrations with spurs greedy chairman stalling the deal in a hope that some other team will come in with an over the top offer to line his pockets for Bent.  The England international was made to apologize for speaking the truth about Levy stalling’s and back peddling on offers, but still hopes to sign a deal with Sunderland.

Steve Bruce has commented on the way waste of time Levy has conducted himself with the dealings,, "What time is it in America? " Bruce said. "I think the Tottenham chairman Mr Levy is in America at the moment and talks are ongoing.

"It is a frustrating time for everyone concerned but until we reach an agreement with Spurs then obviously we can't get the player.

"We thought we had an agreement a couple of times but things have changed.

"I have to say this though, there comes a time when I have to draw the line.

"I have been at it for weeks and one or two of our other targets have drifted away from us because I have been targeting Darren, but we will see."
