Carter Baggies Bound

Sunderland boss Mick McCarthy had been linked with the 21-year-old midfielder, who spent ten weeks on loan at The Stadium of Light last season, but he has begun talks on personal terms with West Brom after Birmingham accepted the Baggies £1.5million offer.

Carter made eight starts and two substitutes appearances for The Black Cats during his loan spell between September and December last year, scoring once.
