| Taught tackling midfielder could face Man City |
There may be some good news on the way for Sunderland as Lee Cattermole looks set to be fit to face Man City, the worry was that Sunderland would be without both their first choice central midfielders.
Club captain Lorik Cana is to serve a two match ban after picking up a tenth yellow card against Bolton. While Cattermole substituted himself off during the first half of the same match, being his first game back from a hamstring injury, the fear was of a reoccurrence of the injury.
Steve Bruce is also hoping that Kieran Richardson will be able to rid himself of a calf injury that has trouble the midfielder for a number of weeks so that he can replace Lorik Cana in the centre. |
