Connolly to opt for Mackems!

To eventually become a Mackem?

Sunderland could be set to sign David Connolly after all.

Leicester looked set to sign the Republic of Ireland international striker, but Mick McCarthy has had a late bid accepted by Westham and Alan Pardew has said that it is Sunderland that Connolly is in talks with now and not Leicester.

Mick will be very keen to add another stiker to his squad before the season starts and in my eyes, Connolly is the ideal man.
