Sunderland striker Darren Bent has today been given the go ahead by England's physios making him available to face Japan this coming Sunday.
Newspapers and other media sources had a field day with rumours of Darren Bent having pulled a hamstring which are now shown as wide of the mark.
Bent was left out of England's 3-1 win over Mexico as a precaution due to stiffing in his hamstring, now it is down to the striker to show what he can do providing he gets the service and time.
