Dick hold's nothing back over Vergini

After Santiago Vergini and his agent where spotted at the Academy of Light yesterday, Sunderland's boss has revealed the basics of their meeting.

Vergini is officially a Sunderland player due to a clause in the loan deal between him and Sunderland, but he is already on the market for a new club.  Dick Advocaat made it plain and simple that the Argentinian International doesn't not feature in his plans for the club.

Advocaat commented, “It’s a new season and I have to be straight and honest with people, I don’t want to go on with him, with all respect.”

Vergini was originally brought to Sunderland by Gus Poyet, but by the time Dick Advocaat had taken over, Vergini had already played enough games for the clause to kick in.  Only Sunderland being relegated would have void the contract.
