Dick's future in question again!

So after an awful string of performances, Sunderland boss Dick Advocaat’s future is yet again in doubt.  This time it could be him being fired, unlike last time that he would be walking out, if you believe what the papers say.

Several papers are claiming that Sunderland are ready to give the Dutchman the boot, to make way for Frenchman Patrick Vieira.  The Arsenal legend is currently in charge of Manchester City’s youth team, and was also reportedly on Sunderland’s list pre-Advocaat resigning.

Dick has said he’d be happy to walk away from Sunderland if the right person was ready to take over as the Black Cat leader.  With managers given less than 5 minutes to prove themselves in the modern game, it’s not difficult to see where the papers get these stories from.
