Middlesbrough have taken forgotten defender Matt Kilgallon on a season long loan, since joining in Jan 2010 Killa has found first team games limited at Sunderland.
The Yorkshire lad will find it even more difficult with the signing of John Mensah, Titus Bramble, and Nedum Onuoha along with Michael Turner and Paulo Da Silva all above him in the first team order.
