Danny Graham: “I said from the minute I walked in that it wouldn’t be an issue, and I think you could see from the performance I put in on Sunday that my heart is here.

“I think it [my performance] probably meant a lot to the supporters, because of what had gone on before.

“I knew that it would take time for me to win over some of the fans – hopefully Sunday has helped do that and we can put it to bed.

“I feel as though I’ve settled in. The guys have been fantastic right from the start.

“And Sunday was the best I have felt!

“I said to the boys after the game that it was a better experience than playing for Swansea in the League Cup semi-final against Chelsea this season!

“The build-up, arriving on the bus, the abuse going into the ground – everything!

“Maybe the size of the win surprised a few people, but we were always confident that we could go there and get something.

“Three unbelievable strikes won us a game that we thoroughly deserved to win.

“We were the better team throughout and caused a lot of problems for them.

“There’s been a great buzz around the place this week as a result.”
