Sunderland's injury plagued left back George McCartney has joined Leeds United on a one month loan deal.
McCartney has been a shadow of his former self since rejoining Sunderland under Roy Keane, current boss Steve Bruce seems desperate to off load the player after convincing utility player Kieran Richardson to make the left back stop his own. After a series of injuries and poor performances the Irishman looks to be heading for the exit.
