Graham Admits His Sunderland Nightmare!

Boro haven’t won in three matches after victories in five of the previous six games but Graham thinks they can still aim for the play-offs.

Danny Graham: “The Boro fans gave me a good reception, which was great, but we’re disappointed not to get the three points.

“Last year was probably the worst of my professional career. It’s a new challenge for me now. I just want to concentrate on my football and do as well as I can for Middlesbrough.

“Looking round the dressing room there is a lot of quality so hopefully next week we can start a bit of a run.

“I wasn’t getting a start at Hull and I’m not the sort of player who wants to sit around on the bench.

“Middlesbrough have offered me the chance to play so hopefully 2014 can be a lot better than 2013.

“I know exactly what this division is all about. I had two wonderful seasons at Watford. I know what to expect and how hard it can be. You have to be on top form every week.

“Anyone can go on a run in the Championship of five or six games to get back up there."
