Sunderland looked at signing the Frenchman back in the summer, only for Russian club Rubin Kazan upping the price at the last minute. Sunderland withdrew with a view that the player will sign this coming winter transfer window on a free.
Moyes was clear on the Midfielder will be a Sunderland player, saying that there was a pre-contract contract in place. But on Russian papers are reporting M’Vila has entered talking with Rubin Kazan, looking at a new deal.
It would be an even bigger kick in the teeth for Sunderland shockingly bad season so far it miss out on such a player, but who would blame him!
