Home call for Larsson.

Sebastian Larsson has just got back on his feet and into his football boots, after what seemed like forever being out injured with knee problems.

Sunderland’s current player of the season is reported to be wanted by two of his home nation clubs, AIK Stockholm and IFA Gothenburg.  Both sides are two of Sweden’s top clubs, and it could be tempting for a player who is in the later part of his career to go back home.

Larsson certainly has done his time not just at Sunderland but in English football altogether, having done 15 years starting at Arsenal as just a teenager of 19.

Larsson’s agents admitted the interest in his client, but push that Larsson’s only interest at the moment is regaining his first team status on Wearside.
