Only two games into the new season and Sunderland already are worried about injuries that there new signings Lorik Cana and Lee Cattermole have picked up.

Both players have given outstanding performances
for Sunderland in the first two games of the season, but both have came away from the defeat against Chelsea with possible injuries.  Catttermole was subbed off after the sixty minute mark with a back problems, Cana's is going to have an x-ray on a possible broken hand, that he received physio attention during the game but played on with it bandaged.

If these are deemed serious injuries this will add to Sunderland boss Steve Bruce's problems as he already has Steed Malbranque out with an ankle injury.

Striker Kenwyne Jones and midfielder Keron Richardson but came off the pitch with minor knocks but both should have shaken them off for the forth come Blackburn match.
