Injury Worries After Vancouver Defeat

Three second half goals saw the Whitecaps to a comfortable 3-0 win but worse news was to follow with news that four Black Cats players are doubtful for the next friendly game.

Stephen Elliott (illness), Danny Collins (Achilles), Nyron Nosworthy (hamstring) and Andy Welsh (dead-leg) are all considered doubtful for The Black Cats next match against Seattle Sounders on Wednesday.

"There are one or two knocks but it's nothing serious," manager Mick McCarthy told the clubs official website.
