Midfielder Jack Colback has been recalled from his loan deal at Ipswich as Sunderland hit another player injury crisis. With David Meyler looking to have been hit with a recurrence of the ligament injury he has just came back from, in which Sunderland are just waiting for confirmation from specialists. Bolo Zenden was shown a second yellow last night, also with Lee Cattermole out with back problems, the midfield is looking very thin!
More problems up front with Danny Welbeck having to be subbed after pulling up with a hamstring pull, Frazier Campbell is still out Sunderland will be wrapping up Darren Bent and Asamoah Gyan in cotton wool.
