John Oster hangs up his Boots.

Ex-Sunderland midfielder John Oster has publically announced his retirement from professional football at 36 years old.

Oster played for Sunderland in between 1999 to 2005, moving from Everton for the sum of 1.5 million.   He then moved to Reading in 2005 having spent some time on loan at various clubs, in that time he gained International status playing for Wales.  

Oster ends his career at fellow North Easters team Gateshead FC.
