Johnson to plead not guilty.

Adam Johnson appeared in Peterlee Magistrates court on Monday, where he has said to have denied the charges against him.

Leaving the court hand in hand with his partner Stacey Flounders, Johnson will now appear in Durham Crown court on the 3rd June.

In the short hearing Johnson’s solicitor Paul Morris indicated that the Sunderland and England international would plead not guilty to the 3 charges of Sexual activity with a child under 16 also 1 count of grooming.
