Johnson's Injury Update. - Good news.

Sunderland winger Adam Johnson will not need an operation after specialist examinations on his shoulder.

Johnson who dislocated his shoulder in the first match of the season against Leicester City, and it was worried that he could be out for up to 8 weeks.

But Sunderland boss Dick Advocaat has today revealed today that if fact after doctors have examined the winger, they are happy that the damage will heal on its own. 

Although Sunderland could still miss out on Adam Johnson for 7 weeks, and could be back in training as soon as 3 to 4 weeks.
