The Black Cats were dumped out of the competition losing 2-1 to Rovers at the Stadium of Light on Wednesday night, their fourth consecutive defeat.

"It's groundhog day, the same scenario. It's frustrating,"Keane said after the match.

"Again, there wasn't much between the two teams, there's has not been much in the games of late, but we are on the losing end, so we have to sort that out.

"Clearly, we don't score enough goals, so we are always putting ourselves under pressure.

"Even with our good all-round play, good opportunities, good balls into the box, we don't score enough goals, so we are always putting ourselves under pressure."
