Keane ready to splash on Cissé

The on-loan striker - contracted to Marseille - scored on his debut to win the game for Sunderland against Spurs at White Hart Lane.

So far, that has been the French international's only goal in red and white but his performances have been nothing short of fantastic.

Despite many sources claiming Marseille want £8m for the former-Liverpool striker, it now seems that I'OM would want £13m for him - however that does not seem to be a problem for Keane.

"I will be happy to break our transfer record on him," confirmed Black Cats boss Roy Keane. "If the deal becomes permanent he will be our most expensive signing - but the transfer record is there to be broken.

Firing on all cylinders he will be one of the best strikers in the Premier League."
