However, Keane has rubbished these reports and has declared himself happy at Sunderland.
Speaking to Sky Sports after the 2-1 win at Blackburn on Saturday afternoon, Keane said: "I have been in football a long, long time and particularly since I have gone to Sunderland there seems to be a story every week about something.
"Where do the stories come from? I honestly haven't got a clue. It is just crazy.
"I am very happy and obviously even happier when we win football matches.
"But these stories that I am not happy or that I am resigning are just nonsense."
