Keeper's Future In Doubt

The 31-year-old Norwegian keeper's contract has now expired and although he has been offered a new contract by the club he is unlikely to sign following the Black Cats recent capture of Kelvin Davis from Ipswich.

"The club has had discussions with Thomas Myhre," said a spokesman for the Black Cats.

"However, at this present time, it is looking unlikely that he will be returning to the Stadium of Light."
