Leeds to raid Sunderland

It’s being gossiped that Leeds are looking at a couple of Sunderland players to push on in the second part of the Championship season.

With Sunderland looking to strengthen the side, in their own push to get out of the relegation dog fight.  The Black Cats could well be keen to offloading some of the dead wood, which there is plenty of.

A national newspaper has run a story reporting that Sunderland boss Sam Allardyce has put five players in the shop window.

The two players apparently who Leeds want are striker Danny Graham and forgotten defender Valentin Roberge, now Roberge is easily understandable, having been playing with the reserves pretty much from joining Sunderland.

But Danny Graham may be a different case; he played as recently in SAFC’s last game against Villa.  But that’s not saying big Sam wouldn’t cash in on the striker, having Fletcher back from injury.  Also considering the fact he is 30 years old with a contract that’s up this summer, having found the back of the net all but once – Sunderland could well cash in.
