Unwanted defender Santiago Vergini has sealed a loan deal away from Sunderland, to Spanish side Getafe CF.
The season long loan deal comes after Dick Advocaat revealed that the Argentinian International did not fit into what he has planned for Sunderland’s squad in the fourth coming season.
Although Sunderland and Advocaat will have to go back to the drawing board, in their search for defenders. With Belgian International centre back Nicolas Lombarets deal falling through, Lombarests has deciding to stay at Russia side FC Zenit Saint Petersburg.
Sunderland have been now linked with a move to Spurs defender Kaboul.
