McCarthy had this to say:
"What a long way the club and team has come.
"The players deserve credit and I am very proud of them. That was a great performance but it's not finished.
"I'm not too bothered who we get in the play-offs, we've played them all already and I don't care.
"We're there now and we'll prepare the best we can. I've been there before and I know how people will feel if we lose and how people will feel about me, but for now we can enjoy what we have done."
