The £5.5m summer signing from Manchester United hasn't made an appearance for Roy Keane's side since August after being diagnosed with a stress fracture in his back.

Richardson, 23, will resume training on Monday after seeing a specialist for a final check-up yesterday. However, he is still weeks away from returning to first-team duties as he won't be risked in the lead-up to Christmas.
