After some bazaar twists and turns in the summer for midfield wizard Yann M’Vila, having looked to be on his to Sunderland after flying into London from Russia only to be turned back. Later it became apparent that his current club Rubin Kazan became greedy by a last minute price hike, which seemed stupid considering his contract was is up in January then Sunderland can have him for free.
It’s all been very confusing, Sunderland Manager addressed the events saying that M’Vila will be a Sunderland player come January, there is a pre-contract in place.
Paper talk suggested that M’Vila had begun new contract talks with Rubin Kazan, but this seems to have faded away.
Then more recently a French newspaper, suggested that M’Vila could move to French side Rennes, following Russian papers linking him to Inter Milan.
Today on his personal instagram when asked by a Sunderland fan “Do you want to come back to Sunderland in January?
M’Vila liking the question, the fan then replied by saying “You liked but didn’t answer the question, are you not aloud to say Yann.“
M’Vila’s response was “If God want my friend”
Is this a sign, what do we make of it? I guess we won’t find out until the winter transfer window.
Maybe only the Lord himself does know…..
