Sunderland are now said to have lost out on Spanish midfielder Vicente Iborra, as Sevilla are said to now want to keep him.

Spain’s oldest football team were all but set to off load their midfielder to Wearside having accepted Sunderland’s offer.   But it’s being reported now that Sevilla want to keep their player, Iborra was also 50-50 on the move.

Sevilla always had an 8 million rating, but had previously agreed on Sunderland 7 million offer, but now that doesn’t seem to be enough.   It’s yet to be said if Moyes will push up the bid to the asking price or point his attentions elsewhere.
