Sunderland's 9 million pound goalkeeper has been dropped from Scotland's world cup qualifier against Holland.

Gordon has only played one game for Sunderland in the last four months, since coming back from injury. With current in form keeper Marton Fulop keeping Gordon on the Sunderland bench.

The lack of club level games for Gordon has taken its toll, as Scots boss George Burley has opted for Glasgow Rangers keeper Allan McGregor to have the number one shirt against Holland.
