Sunderland manager David Moyes is said to have an interest in Derby County’s Republic of Ireland international Jeff Hendrick.
The newly appointed manager knows Sunderland have to build a side that will not be in yet another relegation battle, but maybe taking an unproven in the premiership player from a lower league could be a huge gamble.
Its said that Burnley have had two offers knocked back by Derby who are not in any hurry to sell there prised assets. Having a 10 million price tag maybe be seen as the over priced side from Sunderland’s point of view.
Although if David Moyes does believe he is worth the asking price, the lure of premiership football for the 24 year old would be the big draw and deal maker.
