Sunderland and West Brom are reportedly set for battle over winger Kerim Frei, currently at Turkish side Besiktas.
The 22 year old knows the premier league after a couple of years first at Fulham and then on loan at Cardiff.
His move from Fulham came as a surprise moving across to Turkey he became a full blown international, but has struggled to find form at club level.
The weight behind this rumour is that not hitting form in Turkey after moving, a return to English football may bring the return to form.
