Hi Everyone,
As a newcomer to the site I figured I might as well introduce myself, my name is Michael and I'm a third year journalist student at Sunderland University. I have held a season ticket for three years, though it seems like so much longer!
As well as the opportunity to add to my portfolio of published articles I am also looking forward to sharing my hopelessly optimistic and often outspoken opinion on everything SAFC.
This column is my chance to do just that and I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I like to write/rant about everything Sunderland.
