On loan striker Djibril Cisse has quickly become a Sunderland legend, scoring yet again against Newcastle United, the goal which could of seen Sunderland beat Newcastle for the second time this season, if it had not of been for a very poor refereeing decision and cheap diving talents of Stephen Taylor.

A Sunday Newspaper reported that the French International was unhappy at Sunderland as fellow team mates and personal friends El-Hadji Diouf and Pascal Chimbonda left the club in the January transfer window.

It was claimed that the striker was looking to exit the club once the loan deal has expired.

Cisse was quick to reveal that the claim's are completely untrue and in fact both himself and Sunderland Chairman Niall Quinn have already discussed his future at the club once the end of the season arrives.

Cisse commented, "I am going to speak to the reporter who did this story to ask where he got his information."

"If he thinks I want to leave then he has more information than me. It is not true. I am disappointed this story has been written and I don't think it is fair to me or Sunderland."

"I really need to put the record straight. I spoke a week ago with the chairman about my future. We're really positive, we are just waiting to make sure we stay in the Premier League, then we will make a decision."

"As I say, it is a shame this story has been written about me wanting to go because it is not the truth."
