Veteran striker David Connolly is set to go, after seeing out his original three year contract, hardly seeing the bench in the last two seasons.
Dwight Yorke's contract has ended as a player, he will not be offered another, although there could be the chance of Yorke being offered a coaching role.
Both on loan defenders Tal Ben Haim and Calum Davenport have returned to there clubs, but it is thought that Sunderland are considering making an approach for Davenport.
