Poyet: 'We Must Play OUR Way!'

Gus Poyet: “I’m a believer you need to find a way to win.

"There is a pattern [to the play] because of the head coach, and it’s very easy on paper but on the day you are 11 players together.

“You need to cope with everything and be good on the day.

“We prefer to go and play our way – look at the two cup ties against Manchester United, the two Newcastle games, Man City at home, Fulham away.

“Then if for some any reason something doesn’t work out, sort it out, with the players on the pitch and us making a few changes.”

He added: “No regrets – that’s the biggest challenge for everybody at the club, to make sure we go to the last minute of every game doing everything possible to keep the team in the league.

“I think we have a great chance if we maintain the level from the last couple of months, believe and play for our lives.”
